Daimler and Benz Foundation PhD Scholarships in Germany for international students
The Daimler and Benz Foundation awards ten (10) scholarships to excellent postdoctoral students, assistant professors and young managers of new research projects every year.

Eligibility for Benz Foundation PhD Scholarships
- Postdoctoral students undertaking a research at German research institutes
- professors or researchers in similar positions
- self-employed heads of young academic research groups
- students who are at their early phases of their research career

Scholarships are open to all areas of study including natural sciences, humanities and social sciences and all other topics.
Scholarship Value
The scholarship is awarded for two years, applicants will receive €20,000 every year.
The scholarship amount can be used for the following
Computers, appliances, research trips, temporary contracts for research assistants, special chemicals and kits participation of conferences
It should not be used as living expense.
