The Spanish Society of Applied Mathematics (SEMA) which is based in Spain and aim at contributing to the development of mathematics in connection with its applications is providing two different scholarships for international students to study at France or Austria.
SEMA was established in 1991 and since has been motivated by the continuation and success of the national Spanish Congress of Differential Equations and their Applications (CEDYA) which started in 1978.

PhD Project: Bio-mathematical analysis of the Vertebrate embryo axis elongation
Requirements: Applicants must have a Master degree in mathematics

2. Austria (University of Vienna, Facultyof Mathematics)
PhD Project: Kinetic theory applied to the study of the interaction between
tumours and their micro-environment
Requirements: Applicants must have an Undergraduate and MSc in Mathematics with excellent mathematical analysis.
