The University of Guelph is providing scholarship opportunities ( Walter and Laura Scott Horticulture Scholarship ) to applicants who want to undertake a graduate research project proposal in the area of Horticulture. Priority will be given to applicants for Masters or PhD students applying to study tree fruit science.
Scholarship Deadline:
The scholarship deadline is August 15th. Applicants must submit their application on or behalf this date.

- Canadian and Non-Canadian students ( international students )
- Students who are already studying at the department and want to apply for the Walter and Laura Scott Horticulture Scholarship should have a minimum average of 75%.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship amount is $20,000 for 3 semesters. Students will decide on what to use the scholarship amount for. But actually it should be used for academic purpose.
How to apply for Walter and Laura Scott Horticulture Scholarship
Applicants should submit a Research Proposal or Summary describing their area in which they want to conduct research, a CV and two Reference Letter from academic sources including one from the proposed adviser attesting to the scholastic and research abilities of the applicant.
