WAAW foundation scholarships supports African women to attend university without any financial constraints. The applicants should be studying a STEM program at any Africa university.
Eligibility
- Applicant should be a Female African student
- Should be studying a bachelors degree
- Applicants should be studying a STEM program at any Africa university
- Proof of financial need
- Excellent Academic achievement
- Applicants should not be more than 32 years.
Graduate programs (MBA, MSc, PhD) are not part of the WAAW foundation scholarships.
Students who are 32 years and above are not eligible,
Non-STEM programs and Diploma degrees are not eligible

Note that there are NO EXCEPTIONS to the courses listed
Accepted: Genetics, Agriculture, Civil engineering and Urbanism, Aircraft engineering, Technology, Architecture, Bio Medical, Math related fields, Biochemistry, Environmental Health, Biology, Industrial Chemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Physics, Construction technology and management, Economics, Science related fields, Electronics Engineering, Zoology, Engineering Agriculture, Statistics, Environmental Science, Food Science Technology, Geography, Geology, Home Science Nutrition and Dietetics, IT, Natural Science.
If your program is not exactly as stated, you are not eligible to apply.

This is how to apply for the WAAW Scholarship
- Applicants should filled the online application form
- Provide your contact and personal data
- Provide your academic achievements
- Write an statement stating why you should be considered for the scholarship
- Write an essay (500 words) stating your future career goals
- write another essay (300 words) stating the importance of women education in Africa. Check the official scholarship website for more details

Applicants should filled the online application form and submit all the relevant documents to WAAW Foundation before the deadline.
