Full Scholarships in Germany for International students- DAAD

These are full scholarships in Germany for international students. Masters Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance, Helmut Schmidt Program  is open to international students. The scholarship is designed to enhance students as future leaders in the area of law, politics. economics and administration with reference to good governance.

The scholarship is for students who have already obtained an undergraduate studies and applying to study one of the Master’s courses approved for this award. The program aim at equipping students and broadening their knowledge in political, social and economic development.

Eligibility

  • An applicant should hold a first degree in the field of law, political science, social science, economics and public administration
  • The degree should not be more than six years prior to the application for the scholarship
  • Applicants from; Africa, South Asia, Latin America, Central Asia and Southeast Asia, Middle East and Ukraine are eligible to apply.  See the Eligible countries

Ranges from 1st June to 31st July 2018 depending on each University.  Successful applicants will be contacted by the end of December 2018.

Programme Starts

All scholarship holders will have to participate in the  6 months German language course from April 2019 to September 2019 in Germany which would funded by DAAD. The actual course starts on September/ October 2019.

  • Hand signed Motivation letter
  • Hand signed full curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Certificate of your University degree
  • University transcript
  • High school certificate
  • Proficiency in English or German
  • Two academic reference / recommendation and or a recommendation from current or formal employer

How to Apply

Applications must be in either English or German. Application is made online.

The application must be submitted to the respective universities only and not to DAAD. You can submit up to two master’s curses.
