Scholarships for international students to study at University of Sussex. The University of Sussex is awarding Chancellor’s International Research Scholarship to excellent international students.
The scholarship is available for any field of research or study. The scholarships are for one year and can be renewed for a maximum of 3 to 3.5 years, depending on the program.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship covers;
- tuition fees
- monthly stipend
- Research Training Support Grant.

Eligibility: Scholarships for international students
- International (Non-UK/EU)
- Applicants should be international fee paying student
- able to commence their PhD in September 2018 or January 2019.
- Applicants must meet the entry requirements of the University and also the IELTS English Language Requirements.
Application Procedure
There is no separate application form for the Scholarships for international students. To be considered for the scholarship, during the applications, applicants must put the title of the scholarship in the section named as “Finance”.
