Illinois State University is providing scholarship opportunities to New students through their President Scholarship. The Illinois State University Presidents Scholarship is for students with excellent former college results.

Eligibility for Illinois State University President Scholarship

To be eligible to the Illinois State University President Scholarship, students must;

• Be a New freshman
• Apply for a program between September 1 – November 15.
• 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
• 1360 or greater SAT score (or equivalent ACT)
• Invitation only

Scholarship Value

Up to $44,000 ($11,000 per year, renewable for up to four years)

How to Apply

• Eligible students are invited to apply between mid-October and late December
• Separate scholarship application is required (made available to eligible students)
• Deadline is Friday, December 21st. 

Selection Procedure

• Semi-finalists are required to attend an on-campus interview program in February
• Award winners announced mid-March
• Students who complete the application process but are not selected will automatically be offered a Redbird Academic Scholarship
