Test for Ghana Scholarships

Tertiary Education Scholarship Trust, also known as Test for Ghana scholarships is a Charitable Trust registered in Ghana. It started its operation in 2008 and since has provided scholarship opportunities to many Ghanaians. Test for Ghana scholarships was formed by some graduates from University of Oxford, Linacre College.

The aim of the trust is to promote the economic and social development of Ghana by supporting brilliant but needy students to attain undergraduate studies. The scholarship is for students who have applied to study or studying at any of the public tertiary institutions (Public universities and polytechnics)  in Ghana.

Students are therefore pledge to work in Ghana for five (5) years after graduation for the benefit of their communities and the nation.

Deadline

First year students: Friday 31st August 2018.

Continuing students: the deadline for students who are already enrolled and applying for the scholarship for the first time is Saturday 30th June 2018.

No application will be accepted after these dates.

Eligibility for Test for Ghana Scholarships
  • You must be a Ghanaian
  • A first year or continuing student in any of the public universities and polytechnics in Ghana.
Requirements
  • Certificates or examination results
  • Admission letter
  • Evidence of income of parent/guardian.
  • Most up to date academic transcript
  • Applicant’s most current payslip, if applicable.
  • Proof of relationship with your siblings and or your dependants.
  •  Attach sworn affidavits to support any claims made on this application form.
  • Any other supporting documents that you believe will assist in the processing of your application.

You should write an essay and indicate  why you are eligible for the scholarship and how you will use your knowledge acquired to develop your community after your graduation. (500 words)
