Fulbright is an Hungarian-American Foundation Research award for Hungarian students. The award is given to students to undertake studies in the USA.
The objective of the scholarship is to foster the Hungarian-American bilateral relation and mutual understanding.

Scholarship Value
- Monthly stipend of $3,145
- Book and research support (one-time)
$ 1,250 (one semester) $ 1,875 (two semesters)
- Contributions to outgoing family members-
$ 200 / month (for a family member)
$ 350 / month (for two or more family members)
- Flight Costs between Hungary and USA – 50 percent of the cost of the Flight ticket
- Health or accidental insurance

Requirements or Eligibility for the Fulbright Foundation Research Grant
Applicants must be;
- Hungarian citizens (American-Hungarian citizens do not qualify to apply)
- Good in teaching or must have proof of research work;
- English language proficiency
- PhD or DLA degree
- Invitation letter received from the university you applied in USA
Country requirement: Only Hungarian nationals can apply for the scholarship.
