Queen’s University, Faculty of Education provides scholarship to PhD students who comes from Canada or International students. The scholarship is awarded to students who will apply and study PhD in Education at the Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada.

Scholarship Value

The minimum guaranteed funding package for PhD students is $18,000 per year. Recipients of external awards will not receive $18,000 on top of them, however, their packages are likely to be higher than those who do not win external funds. Normally, if students apply for and successfully obtain a Teaching and/or Research Assistantship the average funding for eligible PhD students is approximately $25,000 per year.

Graduate students who want to be considered for a teaching assistant or graduate teaching fellow position as part of their funding package are required to apply for one or more of the postings listed under Work Here.

How to apply

Apply for the PhD program. Minimum funding offers are communicated to applicants when they receive an offer of admission and the details are provided in June.

Deadline

January 15th. Students normally begin their program in September.
