Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program for African Women to study at Wellesley College, USA. The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is establish to educate and develop leaders in the next generation.

The Foundation helps young individuals from developing countries to attend tertiary and quality High school education.

The Foundation has planned to award 15,000 individuals scholarship opportunities in the next 10 years. These individuals will basically be taken from Africa.

  • Excellent academic performance; the scholarship will be awarded to individuals with good academic records
  • Developing countries basically Africa:
  • Individuals Willing to give back: the scholarship is for people who is committed to give back to their community after their education.
  • Future leaders: The program is looking for people with leadership vision.

Scholarship Value

The scholarship includes:

  • tuition fees, accommodation, books and supplies, food cost, etc.
  • Skills training programs for scholars
  • life coaching, mentoring, leadership development, career counseling etc.
  • Scholars will be given Internship programs and access to jobs
